STEP A

ONLINE APPLICATION

I. On Signing-in using an existing account or after creating one on www.ecitizen.go.ke , go to Directorate of Immigration Services (New Applications)

2. Read and Re-read the Application Instructions carefully before filling and completing the prescribed Application Form

3. Make payment of the appropriate passport statutory fees depending on your preferred mode of payment.

4. Download and Print both the application and Payment Receipts.

STEP B.

IN-PERSON SERVICE

1. Physical Appearance and Submission of Application

2. Capture of Biometrics

During this In-Person interaction, the applicant must be ready for a brief interview if need be and must also;

>. Submit both the eCitizen Pre-filled passport form and the payment receipts

>. Submit Four (4) recent passport size photos(2 inches by 2 inches) against a white background

>. Submit a specimen signature on white paper

>. Present the original Kenyan birth certificate and a clear photocopy ( both sides)

>. Present the original Kenyan National Identity Card and clear photocopy ( both sides)
Note: This is a requirement for applicants who are 18 years and above.

>. Consent Letter for minors and children ( under 18 years of age)

>. The original passport being replaced and a clear photocopy of the Biodata page

>. Police report in cases of lost passports

>. Parents’ Kenyan National Identity Cards and clear copies (New Applications)

>. A clear copy of the Recommender’s Kenyan National Identity Card.
